Fort Worth, TX – In a dramatic conclusion to the 26th Kathy Whitworth Invitational, Lily Peng emerged victorious in a two-hole playoff against Emerie Schartz of Kansas. Peng, a sophomore from California, showcased remarkable consistency with rounds of 69 and 70 for an impressive 5-under par 139, securing her first KWI title after finishing tied for second in last year’s tournament. Schartz finished in second place, while first-round leader Zoe Cusack claimed third with rounds of 71-69 for a two-day total of 4-under-par 140.
